Feature One

Our Founder

Erica F. Douglas, aka Erica Lanes, is a Florida girl with Mississippi melanin. From her Mississippi-infused upbringing to the dynamic pulse of Florida, she's not only an accomplished author and Certified Confidence Coach, Erica is a leadership lane driver.

For over 15 years, Erica has served in many dynamic leadership positions, motivating and influencing others to find their leadership lanes. However, Erica's life took a dramatic turn after a head-on collision left her wheelchair-bound in 2015. The inability to walk, work, or care for herself resulted in a long and dark journey. Her eventual awakening resulted in a story of empowerment and motivation, giving birth to her publicly recognized last name, Lanes. The name Lanes embodies the resilience of a person who chose to change their life's lane and steer towards a brighter destination.

Through decades of experience leading and coaching diverse teams, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Education, Erica possesses the unmatched gift of creating unforgettable experiences for her audiences of all backgrounds and cultures.

As the current owner and visionary force behind Erica Lanes, LLC, a trailblazing company committed to leadership education and training, Erica travels the country, leaving an unforgettable mark as a keynote speaker, expert panelist, and leadership development trainer. As the creator of the My Selfie Needs No Filter framework and founder of the non-profit organization, G.I.R.L.S. Incorporated, Erica is a powerful voice for motivating young lady leaders worldwide.
